Refund and Cancellation Policy

This policy covers the $39 clinical fee charged by PWS-TX PLLC. It does not cover medication, which is sold and billed by an independent pharmacy under that pharmacy's own policy.

What you are charged

PWS-TX PLLC charges a single flat fee of $39 for a clinical evaluation. This fee pays for a licensed clinician to review your medical intake, determine whether treatment is clinically appropriate for you, and produce a treatment plan. It is a professional service fee. It is not payment for medication and it is not a deposit toward one.

There is no subscription, no membership, and no automatically recurring charge. If a future evaluation is required to continue treatment, you are told the cost and you authorize it before anything is charged.

When you receive a full refund

The full $39 is refunded, without you needing to argue for it, when:

  • A clinician determines that treatment is not clinically appropriate for you, for any reason.
  • You are physically located in a state where our clinicians do not hold an active license.
  • You withdraw your request before a clinician has begun reviewing your case.
  • We cannot complete your evaluation because of anything on our end, including clinician availability or a technical failure.
  • You were charged more than once in error for the same evaluation.

When a refund is not automatic

Once a licensed clinician has completed your evaluation and issued a treatment plan, the service you paid for has been delivered, and the fee is generally not refundable. That is true whether or not you go on to fill the prescription, and whether or not you are happy with the clinical conclusion.

This is not an absolute rule. If you believe your evaluation was inadequate or that something went wrong, contact us and a person will look at your case. We would rather refund a patient than argue with one.

Medication is not covered by this policy

PWS Clinical does not sell medication. If your clinician sends a prescription to an independent licensed pharmacy, that pharmacy charges you separately, sets its own price, and applies its own refund and return policy. We cannot refund a pharmacy charge because we never received it.

Federal and state law also restricts the return of dispensed prescription medication. Direct any question about a medication charge to the pharmacy that billed you.

How to request a refund

Email support@pwsclinical.com from the address on your account. Include your name and the approximate date of the charge. You do not need to state a reason.

We respond to refund requests within one business day. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically post within five to ten business days, depending on your bank.

Before you dispute a charge

Please contact us first. Our charge appears on your statement as PWS CLINICAL. If you were prescribed medication, a second charge from an independent pharmacy will appear under that pharmacy’s own name, which is the most common reason a patient sees a transaction they do not recognize.

We can identify any charge of ours within one business day and refund it directly if it was made in error. That is faster than a bank dispute, which typically takes thirty to ninety days to resolve.
